Brendan is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education (BMus) at the prestigious Sydney Conservatorium of Music, specializing in Cello performance. Under the tutelage of esteemed virtuoso cellists such as Ludmilla Palmer and Aleksander Zivkovic, Brendan has honed his craft to exceptional standards. Currently under the guidance of the renowned Rachel Siu, Brendan continues to push the boundaries of his musical prowess.

Throughout his musical journey, Brendan has garnered numerous accolades and awards, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication. His achievements include obtaining the prestigious AMEB LMus-Diploma, clinching the coveted title of Soloist Competition Winner in the Intermediate Section at Trinity Grammar Senior School for three consecutive years (2014-2016), and emerging victorious in the Junior Section of the Concerto Competition in 2016. Additionally, Brendan was recognized as the Denham Court Scholar for the 2015 cohort at Trinity Grammar Primary School and was awarded a Music Scholarship for Trinity Grammar School Senior School. Serving as the Vice Captain of Music in 2021 further highlights Brendan's leadership and commitment to musical excellence.

Brendan's musical prowess extends beyond the realm of academia, as evidenced by his stellar performances in various solo and ensemble competitions. Notably, he clinched top honors at the Inner West Eisteddfod Awards in 2015, securing the first place in the Under 12s Division and third place in the Under 15s Division. As a valued member of Trinity's symphony orchestra, Brendan served as the principal cellist in 2021, showcasing his exceptional leadership and musicianship. He also participated in chamber and cello ensembles during high school, earning accolades and recognition at prestigious events such as the Sydney Eisteddfod.

In addition to his impressive performance credentials, Brendan is also a passionate and dedicated teacher. With a focus on making cello lessons enjoyable and enriching, he inspires and motivates his students to reach their fullest potential. Brendan's approach combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of musical expression, ensuring that his students receive comprehensive guidance on their musical journey.

As Brendan continues to pursue his musical aspirations, he remains committed to sharing his passion for music with others. He firmly believes in the transformative power of music and strives to instill this love and appreciation in his students. With a dedication to excellence and a passion for teaching, Brendan is poised to make a lasting impact in the world of music.
