Profile
Nima Asadi is a skilled classical concert pianist who has dedicated himself to mastering his craft for the last twenty years. He honed his skills by obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Classical Piano Performance from the prestigious University of Tehran. During his studies, Nima also delved into classical composition and singing, and had the privilege of attending masterclasses by renowned pianists such as Gottlieb Wallisch and Christiane Karajeva. In addition to his piano studies, he received vocal training from the renowned vocal teacher Marion Rouvas, and has trained his voice for over ten years, developing a refined sense of vocal technique and musical expression.
After graduating, he has been teaching piano, singing, music theory, and sight-singing. His teaching style emphasizes developing a strong foundation in music and preparing students for higher education and the AMEB exam. Furthermore, he places great emphasis on ensuring that his students enjoy the learning process and encourages them to unlock their full musical potential, sparking their passion for pursuing music with enthusiasm.
In addition to his performance and teaching activities, Nima translated the Oxford-published book The Musician’s Way into Persian, making this valuable resource accessible to a broader audience.
Besides music, he has a deep passion for psychology. He has delved deep into various psychological theories such as CBT, ISTDP, and more, with a specific focus on creativity and motivation. He has successfully obtained a certificate in the Comprehensive Course of Psychoanalysis.
