Profile
Noah began playing the cello when he was 3 years old, before completing his Bachelor of Music in Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under Julian Smiles, Danny Yeadon and chamber music under Alice Waten. During his studies, Noah was a recipient of the Henderson Traveller’s Scholarship and Westheimer String Quartet Fellowship Program, studying abroad and receiving training from world renowned musicians.
In 2024, Noah was part of the String Quartet Residency for Orvieto Musica Festival in Italy. Following this, he was part of the Schumann String Quartet residency in Germany at the Echo Arts Munich with his own quartet, the Elvina String Quartet.
Noah has also performed in many festivals such as the Sydney Festival and Four Winds Festival as well as touring both throughout Australia and internationally.
A sought-after performer and educator, Noah has also performed as a cello soloist throughout Sydney and has received Masterclasses with world renowned virtuosos, such as Hilary Hahn. He currently performs regularly with both the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Opera Australia Orchestra. He is also an experienced educator, teaching beginner to advanced students across Sydney as well as Rural students through various outreach programs.
