Profile
Rena Moore represents the next generation of Australia’s outstanding young cellists. As the 2026 Patricia H. Reid Cello Fellow with Opera Australia Orchestra, she combines exceptional performance experience with a genuine passion for nurturing young musicians.
Graduating with First Class Honours from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Rena has performed as a concerto soloist, chamber musician and orchestral cellist across Australia and internationally. Her career includes performances at the internationally renowned Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival in Finland, concerto appearances with the Sydney Concert Orchestra and Balmain Sinfonia, and collaborations with professional ensembles, commercial recording projects and major cultural events including Vivid Sydney.
Rena believes that every student deserves both excellent technical training and an inspiring musical journey. Her lessons focus on building beautiful tone, confident technique, expressive musicianship and a lifelong love of music in a warm, supportive environment.
Whether students are beginning their musical journey, preparing for AMEB examinations, school scholarship auditions, youth orchestras or advanced performance opportunities, Rena provides personalised guidance to help every student reach their full potential.
