Ruben Giuseppe Levi Pennestrì, a dedicated secondary education music teacher with over 13 years of expertise, embarked on his musical journey at the age of 5 in Reggio Calabria under the guidance of Maestro Salvatore Zema. Transcending his origins, Ruben has enriched his teaching experience by contributing to public schools in various Italian cities, including Florence, where he was drawn by the allure of the Renaissance era and the splendor of Tuscany.
His passion for music extends beyond teaching, as Ruben has graced numerous musical and cultural events and festivals, showcasing his talents as a soloist, chamber ensemble participant (guitar and voice, guitar duo, guitar quartet), and orchestra member. Guided by illustrious Maestros Oscar Ghiglia, Stefano Grondona, and Eliot Fisk—pupils of Andres Segovia—Ruben's dedication to his craft is evident in his pursuit of excellence.
Notably, he immersed himself in the Accademia Musicale Chigiana's music improvement courses in Siena, led by Maestro Oscar Ghiglia, earning the Diploma of Merit in 2015, 2016, 2019, and 2020. In 2021, he specialized in Francisco Tárrega, crafting a thesis titled "Por y Para Tárrega."
