Ruby Jarman is a versatile and accomplished musician, who is skilled in piano, voice, and double bass.
Ruby is the daughter of renowned Australian composer, performer, and cultural ambassador Paul Jarman, whose music has been performed around the world and who has represented Australia in over 40 countries. As part of his international work, Ruby joined him on tour as a music assistant, participating in performances and workshops in China, Myanmar, South Korea, and Singapore.
Growing up in a deeply musical environment, Ruby was inspired from an early age by her father’s passion for storytelling through music, which continues to influence her artistic development and commitment to musical excellence.
She has extensive performance experience across Australia and internationally, including a European tour with Gondwana National Choirs, where she performed with the Berlin Philharmonic in London and Germany. She has also been a featured soloist at official events for the Governor of NSW and the Governor-General of Australia.
Ruby has been an active performer in orchestras, choirs, and jazz ensembles, and has appeared at major venues such as the Sydney Opera House and Federation Concert Hall in Hobart. She has contributed to film and educational recordings as a session vocalist.
In addition to her performance work, Ruby has much experience in teaching piano and voice. Her dedication to music and education continues to inspire both her peers and students.
