Mr Quang Hong Luu

Quang Hong Luu is a highly acclaimed pianist, recognized for his exceptional talent and artistry in Vietnam and Australia. With praise from renowned pianists such as Dang Thai Son and Paul Carasco, he is celebrated for his captivating performances marked by a unique blend of sensitivity and passion.

Trained at prestigious institutions including the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Australia, Quang has honed his skills under the guidance of esteemed professors. He further refined his craft through masterclasses with world-renowned pianists such as Boris Berezhovsky, Robert McDonald, and Anton Nel.

Quang's remarkable achievements include winning the prestigious Lev Vlassenko Competition in Australia, as well as numerous prizes in international competitions across Europe and Asia. He has graced the stage with orchestras worldwide, collaborating with distinguished conductors.

In addition to his performing career, Quang is a dedicated educator, serving on the piano faculty at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Sydney. Committed to nurturing young talent, he frequently returns to Vietnam to mentor and inspire the next generation of musicians.

Together with his brother, Luu Duc Anh, Quang has initiated the Luu Hong Quang Performing Studio project in Hanoi, providing a platform for young Vietnamese pianists to showcase their talent and receive guidance from international concert pianists.

Quang's contributions to the arts have been recognized with the Labour Medal 3rd Class from the Prime Minister of Vietnam. His passion for music and commitment to education continue to make a profound impact in the music community both locally and internationally.
